The IRS considers you self-employed if you carry on a trade or business as a sole proprietor or as an independent contractor which includes being in business for yourself as a part-time business or a side-gig worker. If you fall under one or both categories, then register now for this class and get an understanding of IRS expectations, allowable business deductions, and affordable tools to help you manage how you collect and report your tax obligations to the IRS.

This session is intended for anyone who receives a 1099-NEC and wants an understanding of how to keep good records and report income documented on this form.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.
