This in-person training session is designed to provide entrepreneurs with a clear understanding of the different legal structures available when starting a business. From sole proprietorships to corporations, participants will gain the knowledge necessary to choose the right structure that aligns with their business goals, protects their personal assets, and ensures compliance with relevant laws.

Participants will leave with a solid understanding of business legal structures and the confidence to make an informed choice about how to legally form their business, ensuring they are set up for long-term success and compliance.

Highlights:

  • Identify and understand various legal structures available for new businesses, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies (LLCs), and corporations
  • Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each structure based on factors such as liability protection, taxation, and management flexibility
  • Determine the most suitable structure for your business, taking into consideration your industry, size, goals, and potential risks
  • Understand the steps required to form a business under each structure, including registration, documentation, and ongoing compliance requirements
  • Clarify the legal and financial implications of business structure choices, including taxes, personal liability, and funding options

This session is intended for aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners, and individuals considering starting a new venture and are unsure which legal structure to choose. No prior legal or business formation knowledge is required.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.
