A poorly written handbook can create liability issues for you as a business owner particularly if the policies are outdated, incorrect, ambiguous, or inconsistently enforced. Join us as an employment law attorney walks you through the essentials of an employee handbook including recommendations you can use when drafting and creating employee policies.

This class is intended for business owners with at least one employee or in the process of hiring their first employee. It is also intended for business owners who are in the process of revising an existing employee handbook.

If you choose to register at the door, you will need your mobile device to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Only service animals allowed - If you need to bring a service animal with you to a workshop please contact us ahead of time.
