If you are wondering if QuickBooks Online is the right accounting software for your business, make sure to attend this session and discover its many features and benefits. Our Certified Elite QuickBooks Pro Advisor will guide you through the software, as you follow along on a provided desktop computer.

QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based accounting software with strong accounting capabilities, impressive features, over 650 integrations and fully featured mobile apps. It is one of the most popular accounting software packages for small business.

Please Note:

No one will be admitted to computer workshops later than 10 minutes past the start time. 

This training is conducted on PC computers - MAC computers are not used.

Please do not bring your laptops as we cannot offer assistance using them and the exercises used during the workshop cannot be loaded to personal laptops. Each participant will have a PC computer to work on during the workshop.

Each person attending an event must have their own account. Multiple people may not register under one account.

The SBDC reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient enrollment, weather emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. Should a cancellation occur, we will use the email you provided to contact you.

Preregistration is highly recommended. If an event is canceled or postponed and you have not preregistered, we will not be able to contact you.

If you choose to register at the door, you will need your mobile device to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Only service animals allowed - If you need to bring a service animal with you to a workshop please contact us ahead of time.

Kim Kelly

Raised in Houston, Texas, Kim Kelly brings over 25 years of QuickBooks expertise to her clients as an Elite Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Her journey began in her family's west Houston small business, where growing up she worked as a QuickBooks bookkeeper, inspiring her to pursue an accounting degree from The University of Houston. 

Following her studies, Kim gained experience in the transportation, service, and oil and gas sectors before founding Katy Advisors, a small business training and consulting firm, in 2017. Dedicated to empowering small business owners, Kim specializes in software implementation, training, organizational changes, financial audits, start-ups, and special clean-up projects. 

Kim truly cares about her client's needs and her drive to leverage technology in small business is an asset to all who work with her. Her unique background also makes her exceptionally intuitive at understanding small businesses.

In her free time, Kim enjoys hanging out with her mini-labradoodle, Ginger, and family.
