How To Do Business With The State of Texas | Brazosport College SBDC

Attend this in-person session and find out what you need to know in order to add the State of Texas to your list of customers. We'll explain how the State buys goods and services and what you need to do to start selling to the State. 

Highlights:

• How to research the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) codes
• Statewide contract programs and how state agencies use them to buy goods and services
• The Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) and how state agencies use it to locate vendors
• Finding statewide procurement opportunities through the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD)
• Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Programs and eligibility requirements

This class is intended for anyone wanting to learn how to sell to the State of Texas.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.
