Organizing Your Workday With Outlook | Houston Center SBDC

If you think all Microsoft Outlook can do is manage your email, you’re not taking advantage of the many productivity tools it offers. Come to this fun, interactive, hands-on session and discover how you can start using Outlook on the Web to get and stay organized seven days a week. You’ll learn how to maneuver through the web version of Outlook so you can access your data regardless of where you are.

In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to:

• Manage e-mails so they don’t overwhelm you
• Use the calendar to keep you on schedule
• Track tasks to manage your work
• Plus, much more

If you use Outlook and struggle with getting and staying organized, you don’t have to struggle any longer.  Come to this session, learn new ways to manage your workday, and leave with tools you can use immediately. 

This class is targeted to experienced users of Microsoft Outlook who may be new to Outlook on the Web or want to become more organized using this version. The desktop version of Microsoft Outlook will not be covered. 

Lunch provided. If you register after 10 a.m. on January 10, 2023, you will receive a Turkey Sandwich.

Please Note:

No one will be admitted to computer workshops later than 10 minutes past the start time. 

This training is conducted on PC computers - MAC computers are not used. If you bring your own laptop, we cannot offer technical assistance.

Each person attending an event must have their own account. Multiple people may not register under one account.

The SBDC reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient enrollment, weather emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. Should a cancellation occur, we will use the email you provided to contact you.

Preregistration is highly recommended. If an event is canceled or postponed and you have not preregistered, we will not be able to contact you.

If you choose to register at the door, you will need your mobile device to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Only service animals allowed - If you need to bring a service animal with you to a workshop please contact us ahead of time.
