COVID-19 changed the retail and business world dramatically and small businesses were disproportionately negatively affected. However, government assistance programs and community commitment aided the economy to bounce back, and now, shifts in work-life balance have seen a greater emphasis since the pandemic. How does this affect rural communities and their small business ecosystems? In this session, we’ll identify retail trends since the pandemic onset and identify what cities and small businesses can do to capitalize on population and entrepreneurial growth in rural markets.

This symposium is designed to instruct, inspire, empower, and excite established small business owners and individuals seeking to start a new business. Business to Business (B2B) Networking at its Best. A featured keynote speaker, brought to you by Motiva Enterprises, Jenn Gregory, President of Retail Strategies presents “Retail Update: How consumer shifts have created a new playing field for small businesses and cities.”

  • Training seminars for small business owners offered throughout the day
  • Additional seminars in Spanish and Vietnamese
  • Local small business service and product providers
  • B2B networking opportunities

This class is targeted to new and experienced small business owners.
