QuickBooks Basics | Blinn College SBDC

The Basic QuickBooks Desktop class will be held at the A.W. Hodde, Jr. Technical Education Center, 2910 South Blue Bell Road, Brenham, Texas 77833. This course is sponsored by Citizens State Bank and is at no-cost to registered participants. This is an all-day, basic level course, intended for people who have either no experience or limited experience using the QuickBooks software. You should be familiar with Windows or a PC.
This class will not teach the online version of QuickBooks.
Each attendee will have a desktop computer to use during the class and be given reference materials to keep.
Lunch is not provided.

- Setting up your records
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts payable and receivables
- Deposits and checks
- Basic reports, transaction reports and sales tax reports

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.
No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.
