The hiring process is the beginning of your relationship with your employee. Having an understanding of the legal aspects will help you in developing a modern and consistent approach. Knowing how to draft the job posting and giving each candidate the same consideration is a large part of how to keep your company’s employment practices current and legal. Join us as we walk you through the process of modern hiring.

Target Audience: This class is geared to business owners with at least one employee or about to hire their first employee.  It will also be helpful for businesses in the process of updating their current Employee Handbook.

Pre registration is highly recommended. If an event is canceled or postponed and you have not pre registered we will not be able to contact you. 

If you choose to register at the door you will need your mobile device so you can use it to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.  

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain.  Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Only service animals allowed - If you need to bring a service animal with you to a workshop please contact us ahead of time.
