Whether you are a small business owner needing to get started with QuickBooks, or you already use QuickBooks in your job and need a re- fresher, we can help you learn to navigate QuickBooks. Attend this in-person, hands-on class and learn how to use the QuickBooks accounting program to manage your business books – the right way. Facilitated by a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor, our classes will get you started on the path of strong financial management.

Target audience: This is an all-day, basic level course, intended for people who have either no experience or limited experience using the QuickBooks software. Youshould be familiar with Windows on a PC.

The Sam Houston State University (SHSU) SBDC reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient enrollment, weather emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.  Should a cancellation occur we will use the email you provided to contact you.     

Pre registration is highly recommended. If an event is canceled or postponed and you have not pre registered we will not be able to contact you. 

If you choose to register at the door you will need your mobile device so you can use it to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.  

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain.  Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Only service animals allowed - If you need to bring a service animal with you to a workshop please contact us ahead of time.
