Are you relying on the advice of family and friends when it comes to taxes?  If some of the things they are telling you sound too good to be true then they probably are. Attend this session and get the facts on everything from your home office deduction to automobile deduction to how long to retain your records. You’ll walk away knowing what’s fact and what’s fiction and how to minimize your tax liabilities

Highlights include:

  • Types of taxes, when they’re due, and how to pay them
  • How to legally reduce your income taxes
  • Understanding depreciation and using it to your advantage
  • Avoiding audit situations
  • How to write off such things as your home office, automobile, and work clothes 
  • Retirement plans and how they affect your taxes
  • Tips for stellar recordkeeping

If you choose to register at the door you will need your mobile device so you can use it to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.  

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain.  Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Only service animals allowed - If you need to bring a service animal with you to a workshop please contact us ahead of time.
