If you are thinking of starting your own nonprofit business and wondering if it’s the right step for you, then attend this workshop and find out if you have what it takes.  Whether you have an idea for helping your community or a mission you are passionate about or just need more information on whether a non profit status would apply to your proposed business then register now

We’ll introduce you to a variety of nonprofit business concepts including:

  • Steps in establishing a nonprofit organization
  • The difference between nonprofit, tax-exempt, and 501(c)(3)
  • The management structure of nonprofit organizations
  • Basic duties of nonprofit board members

Before you invest your time or money, see if you have what it takes.

Please Note:

The Houston Center SBDC reserves the right to cancel a class if sufficient enrollment is not met.  

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain.  Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.
