Securing your business from CyberCrime is challenging. However, studies has shown that people’s habits, while using technolog,y are the biggest risk! Learn simple, everyday things that you and your team, can do on your own to reduce risk substantially. Then, learn about security tools and methods, to effectively protect your data and your business from cybercrime. U.S. small businesses have valuable data and funds in the bank, while typically quite weak on cybersecurity. Arm yourself with habits and tools to help your business from becoming a victim.

All participants will receive The Small Business Cybersecurity Workbook, access to online resources gathered, and curated by the SBDC, as well as a Certificate of Completion and lunch.

Target audience:

This workshop is especially valuable to any business owner concerned about cybercrime and how to protect itself.  It is especially helpful for businesses who work with large corporations, government entities, and in other regulated industries such as finance, legal, and healthcare.

Please Note:

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain.  Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.
