May 1 marks the start of Asia American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. As part of commemorating AAPI voices, we have compiled a list of resources to help APPI business owners.

Asian Chamber of Commerce – Houston 

The Asian Chamber of Commerce has been serving the business community for over 30 years. It aims to foster economic and business development through civic advocacy, networking, collaboration, and connections in the Houston Asian American communities and promotes trade between Houston and Asian countries.

National CAPACD

The National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development is a coalition of nearly 100 community-based organizations spanning 21 states and the Pacific Islands, including Texas.

They offer multiple programs for financial empowerment and small business success.

National Minority Supplier Development Council Inc.

The National Minority Supplier Development Council Inc. is the longest-operating business growth engine for the broadest group of systematically excluded communities of color, and the impact goes far beyond the supply chain.

They aim to create connections between minority business enterprises and corporations to help grow entrepreneurship in the community.

UH SBDC Network

The UH Small Business Development Center is responsible for providing small business assistance to 32 counties throughout Southeast Texas with 13 locations.
