If you are a seasoned business owner or a younger entrepreneur interested in acquisition, join us for this presentation to learn how to prepare a business for sale. Topics will include valuation, timing, and exit options. You will also hear from the Small Business Administration (SBA) about their 7(a) loan program - commonly used for business acquisitions - as well as the SBDC and the many resources they offer to help owners prepare their businesses for sale.

If you choose to register at the door, you will need your mobile device to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.
Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.
No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Mike Holloman
Mike joined Murphy Business & Financial Corporation after 17 years in the investment management, oil and gas and real estate industries. Working with investment firms managing assets in excess of USD $700 billion, he succeeded in various roles focused on performance measurement, investment analytics and quantitative modeling. Additional areas of expertise are with information management, process improvement, product management, competitive analysis and strategic development, along with proven negotiating skills. He is a nationally networked professional through his financial and real estate affiliations, enjoys connecting qualified buyers and sellers and helping them achieve mutually beneficial deals. |

Winston Labbé
With more than 25 years of experience in commercial lending and economic development, Winston has dedicated his career to helping entrepreneurs access capital and grow their businesses. A Houston native, he earned a finance degree with honors from Texas Southern University and holds an associate degree in real estate from Houston Community College. He also served four years on active duty in the U.S. Army, shaping the disciplined, strategic approach he brings to his work. Winston currently serves as Deputy District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Houston District Office, where he connects small business owners with funding, resources, and mentorship. Previously, he held senior banking leadership roles, including Chief Lending Officer at a community bank specializing in SBA, commercial, and real estate lending. He remains active in the community and is a strong advocate for equitable access to business capital and education. |
