Julianna Barbee is dedicated to helping people live their passion, build a business legacy, and unlock their creative spirit. She serves as a Center Director for the New Mexico Small Business Development Center, is a certified business consultant, National Stephen Covey Trainer, and business owner. Julianna supports entrepreneurs in reimagining and reigniting their businesses with a focus on video marketing, job creation, and business development—marking her third successful career.

Before joining the SBDC, Julianna spent 25 years in broadcast television and marketing, working for ABC-TV in Denver and stations in Phoenix. She and her husband began their careers as anchors and reporters, and she later worked as a producer, marketing director, and account executive, collaborating with national advertising agencies. Together, they run a training business and present at conferences nationwide.

Julianna has served on the America’s SBDC Marketing Committee for 24 years and participates on multiple boards. She specializes in creative industries, cultural entrepreneurship, media, wellness, and student mentorship.
