Contracts are an essential part of operating your business whether they are contracts with clients, customers, distributors, investors, or vendors. It is important to know that the contract you are entering into is a legally binding contract and that it will protect you when legally enforcing it. 

Register now and walk away knowing the basic legal requirements of a contract in the State of Texas, the two sides to contracts, steps you can take in a contract dispute, and types of contract damages.

This class is intended for business owners who have already formed their business entity, company officers, executive directors, and any person in the process of creating a new business with at least six (6) months prior business experience.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Trisha Barita

Trisha Barita is a licensed attorney with 20 years of experience in Labor and Employment Law for management and Business Law for entrepreneurs. She is the Managing Attorney of the Barita Law Firm, with offices in Houston and League City, Texas. Trisha partners with clients as a long-term legal advisor, providing guidance on business strategy, policy development, employee handbooks, workplace audits, and defense of employment claims before government agencies and in litigation.
