Make plans to attend this session if you are just starting your business and wondering which business structure to use, or are already in business but do not know the best tax structure. Our CPA and Business Law Attorney will walk you through the tax and legal implications of operating as a partnership, limited liability company, corporation, and sole proprietorship within the State of Texas. This class will also address how a change in structure will affect an existing business.

This class is intended for new and existing business owners wanting information on how to select the best business structure for their business.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

Sandra is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with over 30 years of experience working with complex tax issues for businesses and their owners.  A frequent tax/accounting instructor at UHSBDC, she is also the author of educational tax publications including her most recent book "50 Ways to Leave Your Business" regarding exit strategies for business owners.

Susan Turney provides General Business Representation for small to mid-sized companies through all business phases, from start-up to ultimate sale of company. Industries served include oil and gas service and manufacturing companies, commercial and industrial construction, transportation, commercial real estate, professional services companies, retail, and franchisees.
