The Beginner’s Guide to Microsoft® Outlook®

Join us for this hands-on class for a complete and thorough introduction to Microsoft® Outlook®.  During the class you will learn how to comfortably send and receive emails, add people to your contacts, use the calendar, and much more!

Topics we’ll cover include but are not limited to:

  • Learning the Outlook® interface
  • Composing, sending, saving and filing emails
  • Using People to keep track of your contacts
  • Setting meetings and appointments using Calendar


Target Audience – This session is designed specifically for the beginner user.  Participants will leave with the skills needed to start using Outlook® to manage their communications.

Lunch included.

If you are registering after 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 18 , you will receive a Turkey sandwich.

Please Note:

No one will be admitted to computer workshops later than 10 minutes past the start time. 

The Houston Center SBDC reserves the right to cancel a class if sufficient enrollment is not met.   

This training is conducted on PC computers - MAC computers are not used.

Please do not bring your laptops as we cannot offer assistance using them and the exercises used during the workshop cannot be loaded to personal laptops. Each participant will have a PC computer to work on during the workshop.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain.  Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Only service animals allowed - If you need to bring a service animal with you to a workshop please contact us ahead of time.
