Make plans to attend this session if you are just starting your business and wondering which business structure to use or are already in business but do not know the best tax structure. Our CPA and Business Law Attorney will walk you through the tax and legal implications of operating as a partnership, limited liability company, corporation, and sole proprietorship within the State of Texas. This class will also address how a change in structure will affect an existing business. 

Topics Covered Include -  

  • General and legal characteristics and distinctions for each business entity

  • How each business entity is formed

  • The effects of each entity on the amount of taxes you pay

  • Situations where a business owner could be held personally liable for corporate obligation
