Hiring an independent contractor or a new employee for your business is an important decision.  Many business owners find the idea of using contract labor instead of full or part time employees very attractive in terms of cost savings, flexibility, and ease of separation.  Before you make any decisions on how to classify, make sure to attend this information packed session where you will discover the guidelines you need to follow in order to comply with the Department of Labor, IRS, and Texas Workforce Commission standards determining a worker's employment status. This very important decision can have huge tax and penalty consequences for you and your business.
