Where producers used to constantly chase new customers by always expanding their footprint, they are now rewarded by building deeper relationships with their existing customers. Direct to consumer sales has grown nationally across the food marketplace. The growth of the local food movement has developed a generation of shoppers that look to buy more of their food from the people that make it.
This session focuses on maximizing sales directly to consumers for food product companies and farmers through farmers markets, subscriptions, CSA programs, and pop ups, all with an eye for providing great service.
