Target Audience:  This is an entry-level, introductory workshop intended for individuals that want to learn about the General Services Administration’s Federal Supply Schedule Program (GSA FSS).

Description:  GSA spends about $50B annually (10% of all federal spending) using GSA FSS contracts.  GSA FSS contracts are available for use by all federal agencies and the program is an essential tool for buying goods and services.  This hands-on workshop introduces you to the GSA FSS Program.  You will be assigned a computer and utilizing the GSA eLibrary and GSA Vendor Support Center, the instructor will show you how to navigate these systems to learn:
  • The eligibility criteria for the program.
  • How to locate your schedule, Category Items (aka Service Item Numbers).
  • How to find and research your potential competitors in the program.
  • How to locate your GSA FSS solicitation on FedBizOpps.
  • How to conduct an inquiry to determine the total historical sales for a particular GSA FSS.

This workshop is not intended to show detailed specifics on how to submit a responsive offer in reply to a GSA FSS solicitation.

Learning Objective:  Upon the completion of the workshop you will have a better understanding of the GSA FSS Program to help you make an informed business decision about submitting a proposal to participate in the program.
