Target Audience:  This workshop is intended for individuals that want to better understand the rules that apply to joint ventures (JV) for doing business with the Federal Government and introduce you to the new Small Business Administration (SBA) All Small Mentor Protégé (MP) Program.

Workshop Description:  The workshop will address the rules, risks, and benefits of a joint venture doing business with the Federal Government.  We will discuss size standards, affiliation, and limitations on subcontracting and explain how each applies to a JV.  We will also introduce you to the new SBA All Small Mentor Protégé Program.  This program allows an approved protégé and mentor to joint venture as a small business for any Federal Government prime contract or subcontract; provided the protégé qualifies as a small business for the specific procurement.  Under this new program the mentor can be other than small business in the MP / JV relationship.

Learning Objective:  The objective of the workshop is to provide you an understanding of how joint ventures do business with the Federal Government and introduce you to the SBA All Small Mentor Protégé Program
