Please Note:

The Wednesday, August 16th Doing Business with Japan workshop will not be held.

Texas’ central location, great logistics infrastructure, low cost of doing business, and other factors have made the state a destination for a growing number of Japanese companies. In addition, Japan’s status as the world’s third largest economy and one of Houston’s largest international trading partners offers great potential for Texas companies looking to expand their reach into Asia. Join us for an overview of Japan including a look at the Japanese corporate presence in the U.S., Japanese cultural characteristics, promising sectors for U.S. goods and services, and resources for American companies wishing to establish a corporate entity in Japan.

Includes lunch.

Presenters:

Kiyohito Oikawa, Program Coordinator, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)

Keith O. Sanders, Assistant Director Business Development, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO)
