Target Audience:  This hands-on workshop is intended for individuals who want to understand how to develop a price for a government offer, the elements of cost that make up a contract price, and the requirements for a government-compliant accounting system.

Description:  This workshop will help you understand the elements of a contract price and how each is calculated to validate your costs/price for government offers and to establish a government-compliant accounting system.  Terms such as reasonable, allocable, allowable, and unallowable are addressed and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) references are discussed to help you better understand how they apply to solicitations and contracts.  We will address specific costs as it relates to the elements of price in government solicitations.

Learning Objective:  The objective of the workshop is to provide you a basic understanding of the requirements set forth by the federal government to establish and validate the cost factors in your offer.

Basic computer skills
