How to Do Business with the State of Texas

The workshop will introduce you to the tools and programs for doing business with the State of TX found on the TX Comptroller of Public Accounts State Purchasing website.  You will be introduced to the Texas Procurement and Support Services Division (TPASS) and the programs they manage:  Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program, Centralized Master Bidders List, Electronic State Business Daily, and TX Multiple Award Schedule (TXMAS) Program. Each is discussed to provide you an understanding of they are used in Texas Government procurement. Additionally, we will introduce you to the TX Department of Information Resources who provides statewide oversight for the management of government information and communications technology.

Learning Objective:  The objective of this workshop is to help you understand how to do business with TX Government agencies and educate you on the various programs and websites available to assist you as you pursue State Government contracts.

Target Audience:  This workshop is intended for individuals who want to learn how to do business with the State of Texas.
