The most common type of method used by the federal government to acquire goods and services is commercial solicitation procedures.  This workshop provides you a basic understanding of how the federal government solicits commercial requirements using Request for Quotes (RFQ), Invitation for Bids (IFB), and Request for Proposals (RFP). The workshop informs you of the steps to become eligible to do business with the federal government and where to find opportunities. It will also give you an understanding of when each solicitation method (RFQ, IFB, RFP) is used and the key terms, processes, and clauses associated with each.  The workshop concludes with a hands-on review of a federal government solicitation with recommendations on how to review it and prepare an Action Plan for submitting an offer to the federal government.
