James B. Evans, CEO, Evans Business Advisory Service, Inc.

James B. Evans is the President and CEO of Evans Business Advisory Services, Inc. (EBAS) which was established in 2006. The company is a management consulting firm that provides recommendations and implementation on issues concerning capital acquisition, cash flow management, ratio analysis, and capital structuring.

From 2008 through 2012 Mr. Evans managed the University of Houston Hurricane Business Recovery Center. He managed a staff of eleven business advisors. In 1998, Mr. Evans received the Star Performer’s Award from the National Association of Small Business Development Centers. In 2000 the Houston District Office of the U. S. Small Business Administration named Mr. Evans the Small Business Advocate of the Year. In 2001 Mr. Evans was promoted to Assistant Region Director for the Southeast Texas region. In this position he is ultimately responsible for General Business Consulting and International Trade Consulting.
Mr. Evans was previously employed for over twenty years as a Commercial Lender on international accounts, national accounts (fortune five hundred companies) and middle market accounts.

Mr. Evans holds a master’s degree in business administration from Texas Southern University, with a concentration in finance and a bachelor’s degree from The University of North Texas with a concentration in finance.

Mr. Evans spent six years in the Texas Army National Guard. He reached the rank of E6,
(Staff Sergeant), he made 18 parachutes jumps. He received an honorable discharge.
