If you are thinking of starting your own business you owe it to yourself to estimate how much money it will take to “open the doors” and keep them open. Knowing how much you need is critical and luckily making the calculations is not a difficult thing to do.

In this class we will walk you through the steps of determining your initial start-up costs, how to estimate your on-going monthly costs, and at what point your business will reach the break-even point. Until you know you won’t be able to price your product, set an hourly rate, apply for a loan, find investors, or know if your business will be profitable.

Highlights include:

  • Step by step guide for determining start-up costs
  • Specific industry resources available to you
  • Methods to determine operating costs
  • Break-even analysis
  • How to determine a start-up cost versus an operating cost
