By now you have probably read stories about how people have funded their start up and existing businesses by way of crowdfunding.  It is an interesting concept and one that is guaranteed to grow in popularity.
Crowdfunding is a term used to describe how a group comes together to network and pool resources usually via the Internet, to support efforts initiated by other people, businesses or organizations. It can be used in a variety of activities, including disaster relief, political campaigns, and in small business funding.

In the upcoming sessions you will hear from a local business owner who has used crowdfunding to start his own business.  You will also hear from an attorney who will share his experiences in helping people through the process.
